The official Programme of GastroPan 2018

During the 4 days, the GastroPan anniversary edition will welcome visitors with countless practical workshops, demonstration programs, baking and cooking shows, tasting campaigns and product launches, as well as the GastroPan Competitions, which will highlight talent, new trends and the best products of the year.

The 9 categories of GastroPan Competitions, which will award the best bakers, pastry chefs, confectioners, cake designers and chefs in the country, will be grouped into 3 sections – BAKERY-PASTRY, CONFECTIONERY and GASTRONOMY, each section having a dedicated day. As a novelty, on the last day of the show – Coffee and Ice Cream Day, suppliers of the industry will present to visitors the latest innovations through demonstrations and tasting campaigns.


THURSDAY – 19 APRIL: 1000-1800

The official Opening Ceremony of GastroPan Exhibition will start at 1000 and will host special guests and representatives of the press. After the ceremony the visitors will make first contacts with the new technologies exposed.

On this day, in the hall dedicated to GastroPan Competitions (Competition Zone), the categories of the CONFECTIONERY section will take place. The Cake of Year 2018 and the best artistic pieces made of sugar and chocolate will be awarded.

FRIDAY – 20 APRIL: 1000-1800

It is the day dedicated to the BAKERY-PASTRY competition section. The trophies for the Artisan Bread of Year 2018 and Industrial Bread of Year 2018 will be awarded. Besides the best breads professionals of the industry will award the most healthy pastry products, and also special pieces of art made from bread dough.

SATURDAY – 21 APRIL: 1000-1800

The day dedicated to the GASTRONOMY section at the GastroPan exhibition brings together the best chefs from Romania, who will compete for winning the trophies for the most successful festive culinary cold plate as well as the most impressive sculptures in vegetables and fruits. At 1100, a conference on IBA exhibition will be held in the presence of specialists from Messe Munchen and the President of German Baker's Confederation, Michael Wippler.

SUNDAY – 22 APRIL: 1000-1600

The last day of the exhibition will have an intense dynamic program, being dedicated to Coffee and Ice Cream. On the occasion of the anniversary edition of GastroPan visitors will experience a festive atmosphere with tasting campaigns, prizes and surprises.
